22 luglio - Per regalo di compleanno una bella mareggiata da NORD

Come previsto tramite questo blog, il 22 luglio è cominciato con una scaduta da nord, frutto di una notte ventosa nel medio adriatico. Alle 9 sono sceso in acqua nello spot del lido, con onde di 1 metro sporche ma quanto bastano per affinare la tecnica di pop-up. Guido Governatori from Brisbane presente, siamo rimasti in acqua fino alle 11, per poi lasciare spazio alla bora che ha rinforzato con picchi oltre i 35 nodi, schiacciando le onde. Dopo di che, alle 14,30, il mare ha cominciato a ruggire, rendendo impraticabile lo spot di Sassonia, e richiamando i surfisti tutti al lido.
