Alle dieci senza nemmeno crederci più di tanto, perchè il mare non era previsto, mi sono allungato il giro fino allo spot di Sassonia point, e davanti al Circolo Windsurf Fano c'erano almeno 6 longboards a mollo... le onde avevano l'aspetto di una scaduta, cosi cominciavo a rosicare per non essermi alzato sufficientemente presto, invece quelle che si vedevano frangersi sui moletti altro non erano che le prime onde che stavano arrivando probabilmente da uno scossone off shore. A scanso di ogni equivoco, sono andato all'Headquartier, dal momento che ho valutato che ormai era tardi per scendere in acqua in Sassonia, così mi son detto, al massimo farò un po' di paddeling col longboard d'allenamento, quello giallo che usiamo solo io e Guido...

Giro appena la testa verso il molo dell'Arzilla ed ecco delle barre da cinquantametri, dritte e fatte col righello! Corro a casa a prendere la mia Hybrid e scendo in acqua alle 10.45...
Ho cavalcato le più belle onde della stagione, all'altezza degli scogli sommersi, (il vero reef del lido quando si hanno mareggiate discrete da Nord e Nord Est), e gran godimento!
Posso dire che fino alle 12.45 quando ormai il mare era sceso, sono rimasto solo a godermi tutto quel ben di dio!
E' il caso di dirlo, è stato proprio un BIG WEDNESDAY!
